April

April Highlights
- Meeting Kipper - Chris and Kacie's new cavapoo puppy
- Rachel getting to babysit Kipper
- Andrew getting aqua globes and a desk lamp at class auction (such random prizes)
- Barratt night at Classic Skating
- Rachel's got a new purple streak and bought it with her own money ($15)
- Nana dressing up Carson while babysitting him
- Andrew spring soccer
- "Go close the deck box" song created by dad and the kids because whenever it is raining, I ask the kids to go check and make sure the outside deck box is closed so it doesn't fill with water.  They apparently think I care about that more than anything else - Rachel even had a dream that I made her go close the deck box in a full-on tornado!

About Carson at 9 months:
- clapping (my favorite)
- 8 teeth
- loves baths
- loves the backyard and to sit by the back windows if the kids are out there playing
- love the swings, he's not too sure about the tramp
- first word is dada
- pulling up on furniture
- first haircut this month

Spring Break - Las Vegas + Zions + St. George

We took a trip down down south for spring break.  We met up with Chris and Kacie's family and stayed at Tahiti Village since they were on their way to California.  The Gray's were also there, and it was funny because Kelsey and I really didn't plan that!  So Avery and Kendall got to play together!  We liked Tahiti Village a lot - it was great for two days - no more than that needed.

We went to Shake Shack for dinner and swam lots at the hotel!  No one got enough sleep - all the kids were up so early!  But Carson slept amazingly in his pack n play - seriously, what the heck are we doing wrong at home??!! He did pretty good on the drive too and got to watch Baby Einstein for the first time (he likes it ok).  This was one of his first times swimming, and he loved it - it's like a big bath, but with daddy!

We went to Zion's and hiked to the lower Emerald Pool and Kendall won best hiker!  Andrew and Rachel managed to fight most of the trip - particularly in the back of the car together.  Finally, on the way home, they figured each other out and got along great.

We visited the St. George Temple and visited an ancestor's home there.  We also visited the St. George Children's Museum and the kids absolutely loved it (only $5!).  We spent an afternoon at Sand Hollow and played with the paddle board.  Carson literally just ate sand - so much sand!
