November

- Date with Carson to In 'N Out for his first hamburger and he loved it
- Carson climbs into the bathroom sinks all the time  = annoying
- We used an app to age ourselves!!
- We are teaching Carson to say please in sign language, since he is a man of few words.  After teaching him all day, I asked him to say please and he did the sign on me instead of himself, which actually makes perfect sense since I had been showing him how to say please on myself all day.  He thought he was supposed to do that to me!  Too cute!
- Kendall wants to be first in line at school, so we have to go 15 minutes early and wait in the car
- Avery got a new hot tub and on a "warm day", they decided to sun bathe - in November!!
- Date to the Jazz game with the Henrie's - we're so glad they moved back to Utah
- Brandon getting creative making a "fireplace" with Netflix and a portable heater
- Matching suspenders for Andrew and Carson
- Trying to keep Carson busy with outside adventures and indoor things to do
- Brandon is coaching Andrew's basketball team (Carson wanted in on the huddle too)
- Kendall was excited to go to a BYU basketball game and get dip n dots with dad
- Andrew and Brandon went with Will & Brandon Henrie to a BYU basketball game
- BYU football game with Chris & Kacie
- We typically do Saturday chores as a family - it cracked me up when Rachel upset about fingerprints on the sliding glass door since she had been the one to clean them!

Thanksgiving Weekend

This year was a Parker Thanksgiving, so we wanted to show Cade's fiancĂ©, Ally, what a fun family we are!  :). We went to Classic Skating, ran a 5k turkey trot, went to the movies, Black Friday shopping, etc.!  I think Ally likes us!! YAY! We're excited for them to get married.  We also babysat Kipper for the Hale's and Rachel loved having a dog around.

Kid Activities - November

Rachel performed in her fifth grade play (all about America / same as Hope of America).  She did a fantastic job as a member of the Coast Guard!  Pictures with Miss Nielsen, Grandma, Olivia Bishop, Gracie, Eliza, Keira & Addi.

Andrew had his first pinewood derby and his car that he came up with with dad was AWESOME, but the race was an epic FAIL!!  On the first race, it didn't even make it to the end of the track.  Some dad's helped by putting some lubricant on the wheels and it was able to make it all the way down the track.  Keep in mind, Brandon knew and warned Andrew that it would be slow if he wanted it to look like the car from the book, "Dogman".  Andrew assured him that would be fine and loved his car, that is until his car was SLOW - he was sad, but quickly got over it.  Getting the correct weight for the car was tricky!  Brandon had to run it back and forth to the scale and hollow it all out big time.  It was a little stressful for our first go around, but overall a fun/funny memory!

Andrew's Baptism

Andrew got baptized on November 3!  We are so proud of him and how prepared he was to be baptized.  Lots of family and friends came!  He was even brave enough to sing "Today I Will Be Baptized" and Grandma Nancy played the piano.  We had family over for donuts afterwards and Andrew was thrilled with the little gifts and notes he received.
