Christmas Eve / Day

- On Christmas Eve, someone at the party was asking Carson what he wanted from Santa.  He is a little tired of answering that question.  Plus, he was in a mood. But they were saying, "how about.." this idea and that idea and said "how about a soccer ball?" Before Carson went to bed, he told me that he really wanted Santa to bring him a soccer ball and not a clarinet.  To make matters worse, Rachel asked Santa for a Nike soccer ball, so I could see that things were not going to go very well in the morning.  So Brandon ran to target at 9:45p to get him a soccer ball (too bad Carson would not have accepted the 12 we have in our garage).

- Best gift = Brandon gave me a new eye prescription for him since I have been asking him to get new glasses for ages.  I would have just bought him some, except that his prescription was expired and so I couldn't order new ones for him.

Christmastime

- Thompson Talent Show (fun to have the Dumbrell's from Australia there in person)

- Luminaria with the Parker family

- Saw "The Elf Musical" at the Scera (not our favorite, but still fun)

- Carson's sweet friend, Shauna from Nursery, brought him a present

- Overnight at Grand America in Salt Lake - did all the Christmas-y things

- Morgan & Leslie happened to be staying the same night (sans kids) in the Grand America,  so we went caroling in our matching pajamas to their room (I was so relieved that they gave us the right room number!) and so they snapped a picture for us

- Carson feel asleep on Brandon in the while we were watching a Christmas light show

- Space center with the Parker siblings - we got dominated, but still had fun and looked good ;)

- Hale talent show - this one is nothing like the Thompson talent show - the Hale one is for serious, actual talents (all music) - it is kind of like Nancy's piano/guitar recital since she is teaching the grandkids

- Grandma sleepover - look how big they are getting!

- Date night to Top Golf while the kids sleep over at Grandma's house
