Everything Halloween

Halloween was super fun this year!  Rachel did matching costumes with her friends (Olivia, Payton, Elley), Andrew picked a video game character from a game he doesn't even play :), Kendall chose to be a witch and we all assumed Carson would be a marching band member, but then he informed us a week before Halloween that he wanted to be a fireman.  He was a fireman during the day and then he wanted his band uniform for trick or treating.

Brandon's new office Clyde Companies goes all out for Halloween at their office - he even had to dress up with an assigned theme - classic monster, so he went with an incredible scary clown (Andrew & Kendall sometimes have a hard time with scary masks, so we had to hide it from them for the most part).

News flash:  I still hate pumpkin carving, but Brandon pulls through for the kids.

Kendall turns 7

It was so fun celebrating Kendall's 7th birthday.  She wanted to have a pizza & pajama party with her friends.  She asked me to make her an ice cream cake with vanilla and cookies and cream.  It was really fun to surprise her with ice cream shipped from Blue Bell!  It is her favorite and we can only get it in the southern states.  I dare say it was worth the cost to ship it!

Kendall is an absolute joy!  She gets along well with others and is a good friend.  She is a really good reader and student.  She is pretty chill and easy going.  She still has a hard time with a lot of foods, but she is trying and making some small progress.  She needs a little melatonin to help her go to sleep at night - otherwise, she'd stay up til 11p reading and playing in her room.  She still loves to play in her room even if she is by herself, but the big kids often play all together in her room.  That means her room is often messy and it is hard for her to keep on top of all the toys and stuffed animals!
