December Performances

Andrew performed with Barratt's school choir at the school and at University Mall.  They practice before on Tuesdays and he hardly ever complains about going.  He is our little enthusiastic singer and is expressive and fun to watch!

Kendall had her Dance Showcase recital and did a great job!  She is a darling dancer and knows all the moves!  She also gets to be in a class with her friend, Kylee, from dance and preschool last year.  Avery came to her recital and dances at the same studio.

SLC Christmas Weekend

We decided to SPLURGE and stay at the Grand America Hotel in SLC for our Christmas hotel weekend.  The kids thought it was SO fancy and they were super grateful.  It was very fun!  We saw the temple square lights and JSB tree, we ALL ate at MOD pizza, got our picture with Santa at City Creek, even ran into cousin Kennedy at the food court play area, got matching reindeer pajamas, watched Home Alone, swam at the hotel pool, saw the windows and gingerbread house at the hotel.

The funniest part was when we ran into the hotel's adorable Santa and Mrs. Clause in the parking garage.  Grand America does a breakfast with Santa for $40/person, but we weren't ready to splurge that hard, so we were on our way to IHOP for breakfast.  They were so sweet and kind and they let us take a picture with them.
