February

We had some yucky sicknesses this month!!  Maybe it's because this box kept floating around our house and they kept playing in it.

More trips to see the horses ("nays") this month with Carson!

Kendall made a darling ice cream cone out of 100 bubble gums to celebrate 100 days of school.  They displayed it in the hall, and I laughed out loud when I saw that the kids had been swiping the hot glue gunned bubble gums!

Brandon took Rachel skiing and they had a great time - minus the time he "accidentally" took her on a black diamond run.  She survived, but there was crying involved.

We babysat Milo, and Rachel was just thrilled.  He actually loved Brandon and it was pretty dang funny!  Rachel wanted to sleep with Milo, but admitted that it was the worst night of sleep ever.

BYU basketball game with Rachel.  It was perfect timing since she's in the middle of her season (the Wildcats, channeling Zac Efron and HS Musical).  Carson was a good fan as long as we brought the iPad!

Rachel has been working hard getting ready for Battle of the Books at school with her team, the Purple Pigs (Millie, Gracie, her and Gavin).

We got to go see Wicked in SLC with Papa and Nana.  Brandon and Andrew were supposed to come, but Andrew was NOT interested and we were not about to make him go, so we sold those tickets to Brandon's aunt, Miriam.  It was superb as always!  I think that is probably my 4th or 5th time seeing it.

January SNOW

This month, I got to be the "cool" mom and surprise check out the kids from school to be able to play in the snow at Evergreen park before all the kids sled all the snow away.

We also checked out Rock Canyon in Provo to create some good memories there - they last time we went, Andrew and Rachel went off a jump and got hurt and it was a little scary!  This time was successful even though the fresh snow was gone.

Carson is not so sure about the snow and doesn't like being cooped up inside all day.

Kendall lost a tooth, which is a big deal since she really doesn't like losing teeth - it is kind of traumatic for her until it falls out.

Just because there is snow on the ground, doesn't mean Carson doesn't want to go visit the horses down the street!

All three kids participated in the Reflections Contest at school and all placed!  I was proud of them for submitting something and trying.

I did a puzzle with Rachel and I had no idea how much fun puzzles are!

Cade & Ally's Open House

We celebrated Cade & Ally again, but this time in Utah.  Mom put together a gorgeous open house at Shade Home & Garden, and everyone worked hard to help pull it off!

Fun connection - Ally's cousin, Victoria, goes to Rachel's same school!  It was fun to include her as one of the server girls!
