I am posting a Fox News clip of my co-workers who got tickets for playing soccer in a park after work on Tuesday. Apparently it is against the law to play ball in Chicago Parks due to grass wear and tear - crazy! A nearby homeowner called the cops when the group arrived. I was not there (I have a pretty good excuse and didn't want them to confuse my belly with the soccer ball), but Brandon was there as a substitute for me, so he got in on the action when the cop showed up and started issuing tickets but was not able to meet Fox News when they did the interviews since he was at school.

I'm blown away. That's ridiculous!! What's the park there for then? Sheesh! And I can't believe they can just hand out tickets without giving any warning. Do they seriously think people read city ordinances in their spare time??
Wow! That is so stupid. Why have a park if you aren't allowed to play in it. I'm amazed.
I can't believe someone actually reported it to the police! Maybe they should eliminate the "wear and tear" on the grass and put in a parking lot! (I really don't think they should but it would be just as useful as this "park" is!)
