My mom came into town to visit us (really just Rachel) this weekend and we had a great time! We went to the Aquarium and did some shopping and ate yummy food (Pancake House, Molly's Cupcakes, Flacos Tacos). Rachel also got her first cold and both my mom and I caught it too, but it hasn't been that bad.
Rachel is all over the place - she is crawling so fast now and if I turn my back for a second, she's across the room and trying to pull herself up onto something into half-standing position. It's super exciting, but a whole different mommy ball game. She keeps me on my toes. She has loved her solid foods and she'll eat almost anything - she'll even eat green peas, but I can tell they're not her favorite. We also had her taste a lime and she gave the funniest sour face - I love those moments when they discover something new.

the first cold is the worst! we gave allie a lime too, and it was pretty funny. i love that they are so close in age and development. it will be such a fun reunion at disneyland. i can't wait!
It's so fun to have family visit...and then you find out why! It's always for the grandkids. We still love having them, though. Your aquarium picture made me sad that we never made it there. Bummer.

She is so cute!! I love all the fun pictures! We had a great time at that aquarium when we were there for Mason's medical conference last summer! We sure miss you guys!
