After my niece's little photo shoot that I did, my sister-in-law humored me and let me create her announcement too. I'm not sure why this is so fun for me, but I'm learning a lot and am slowly getting better. Brandon is also enjoying Photoshop Elements and is good at teaching me new tricks.
My latest project has been to organize and edit all of our family videos, which quickly multiplied after a certain someone was born! This will take all summer, so when I need a break, I've been organizing our family photos and putting them in albums. I've also been trying to decide if a blog book (using blurb) is worth it - the program is SO slow and kind of hard to work with.
I've also been giving a lot of thought about what I should do with the mountains of pictures, videos, blogs, baby book, journals, etc. I get overwhelmed when I think about what to do with all of this and what I'm going to want to keep and what my children will want to take when they're all grown up. It would also be nice to have everything be somewhat the same and somewhat streamlined, but technology changes so quickly that I doubt I'll seem organized at all. At least it's my own mess and that I'll be tracking all our fun memories - it's for me anyway!

Shoot, I'm disappointed to hear that Blurb is a pain to work with. I had hoped to publish our blog at some point...
Someone I know did a book using Blurb and was happy with it though, so maybe it is worth the hassle? Let me know if get a book from them and how you like it!

Cute pictures and announcement. It's so fun when you find something you like and to get better at it! I like Blurb myself. We've printed a book with it and I was satisfied. It hasn't ever been slow for me. I wish you could manipulate the templates a little more, but I think that the fact that you can't is a plus since I'd spend a lot more time messing with it.
Okay, I love the pictures, and I love your fourth of July (it sounds like your fam and mine should get together for water fights--we've got chemistry!), but I LOVELOVELOVE the cake that Brandon made for you. That is...well, I can't even think of words for it. Whoa.
And Rachel is so cute. Still. Yeah, it took me a while to get Spencer to understand the concept of buying outfits specifically for the fourth.
Those announcements are really cute, good work! i think it is fun you are learning photoshop. That is something i definitely would love to learn as well.
I feel the same way with all our pics and videos. How do you edit your videos? I've been wanting to do that but we don't have a program that does it.

is blurb really that bad? i've been wanting to make my blog into a book soon. marilyn told me about one called blog to book or something like that. let me know what you find out.
rachel's face is classic on the fireworks picture. compare that to allie's no expression face all the time. i'm thinking disneyland will be different cause she loves rides. i'm also counting down the days. it's going to be so much fun!
morgan refuses to wear red, white, or blue during the week and especially on the day. what rebellious men we married:)
last thing.... i know a while ago you were asking people about a front facing car seat. what did you hear. it's about that time for allie to get one. not because of her weight, just that she gets bored looking at the back of the car. let me know. thanks! sorry this is long:)
