First, it's so hot - still over 105 degrees at 10pm and I'm being super-paranoid mom about Rachel being out in the heat. The heat hasn't even phased Brandon - he likes it. I'll get used to it eventually and let's be honest, I really did know it'd be hot before I moved here. Next, there are a couple car problems that we're working out. We just bought Brandon a car up in Utah and after the 10 hour trip to AZ this weekend, it wouldn't start this morning. Yikes, I seriously hate car problems and they stress me out. I was so stressed with all we have to do this week that it made me cry ... but the funny part about this story was that when Rachel saw that I was crying, she started bawling (kind of sweet). Brandon wasn't sure who to comfort first, both his girls were crying. He hugged us both and then said quietly, "I think there's a little too much estrogen in this room." It lightened the mood and we pulled ourselves together.

What a hot place! Hope the transition into work is a good one. I can't believe Ross has already worked at a firm for a year.
And good luck as you look for that perfect house. Luckily, we found ours.
Oh Whitney. I'm sorry it's been rough. It seems like stuff always breaks at the same time and at the worst time. I'm glad you're honest about it on the blog. It's not all roses. :) You're the best.
Good luck with the house hunt and starting work. It's so lucky that he gets to start on time. I would love to see your temporary place.
I will never complain about the heat again. I hope that you adjust to it quickly.
Sorry about the new car. That stinks.
Good luck Brandon on your first day at work and Good Luck to both of you in your house hunting. It gets old really fast so I hope you find something fast.
Ok, SUPER bummer about the car! And for some reason I always say I'd prefer the heat to the cold but once you're in it, it's always a different story. It's freakin hot there! It's always hard getting settled but sooner than later, you'll be in home of your own and things will start to fall in place. Good luck Whit!
Welcome to Phoenix! Sorry you are a bit stressed right now. Moving and starting up a new, 'real' life is just plain stressful anyway, so you really didn't need anything extra! Hopefully this heat will calm down soon. My MIL said it's unusually hot right now. I took Owen to a park around 8am, and it was already on it's way to being too hot! yuck. I'm still readjusting to it myself.
My brother-in-law is a realtor, if you need any help or advice finding a good place to live. Here's a link to his site: http://us1.campaign-archive.com/?u=ec40c54e962a92ed092aa3ab0&id=144c978a80&e=e1571e5b8f
Good luck on the house hunt!!
Wow, I think I have seen Brandon in a Mickey Mouse outfit before. I may even have a picture. Somehow it suits him! Good luck in AZ. I wish we were close by. You'll have to look out for Nat and little Grace. I'm jealous.
It kind of sounds like you just need to suck it up a little bit. Face it, the heat is beautiful thing and you are married to a wonderful man. The way I see it life doesn't get much better.
Glad to see you guys made it okay and are settled in. Don't worry about the heat, you'll get used to it!
The best things are tough, and that makes them all the more worth it!
I love the estrogen moment, don't have many of those at my house. :) You've had your share of car problems, here's hoping you get a break for a bit.
I'm not sure how you are handling that heat. I don't think I'd ever leave the comfort of A/C. We may visit, but in the winter. :)
Love you Whit! Whoever Anonymous is....lame.
