I'm not sure when it happened, but Rachel has taken over the car radio completely. She requests her CD almost immediately by pointing and jabbering until it comes on and then she is happy as can be ... at least until we get to a song she dislikes and then she points and talks to me in gibberish about how I need to change the song. It was cute at first, but now I feel like I can't have a peaceful car ride unless the "Toddler Tunes" CD is blaring. If you haven't been tortured by this CD 3-set, it features hits such as "Do Your Ears Hang Low", "Skinnamarink" (Rachel's faves) and "Sandwiches are Beautiful" and "I Always Punctuate My P's" (My least faves). Can you feel my pain? Confession ... whenever I'm alone in the car, I turn up (quite loud) my pop/hip hop music and groove, and it reminds me of when I was in college. Love it.
New topic. Rachel basically skipped size 5 shoes (take note, moms)! And I had two cute pairs of size 5 shoes that are basically worthless to me now. Size 5 is basically the same size as a size 4 that has been worn and stretched, but then the size 6's seem gigantic, but I know she'll fit in to them very soon.

Another new topic. I've been meaning to share my favorite washable bib by Bumkins with other moms. I had some serious bad luck with many brands and I think I was apprehensive to try this brand because it felt flimsy and thin, but it's the only one that dries quickly and I can tell it will last a long time. Don't waste your time with other brands.
And yet another topic. Remember this post about Brandon's choice of ice cream? It happened again. This time he chose black licorice ice cream - nasty if you ask me! It made his entire mouth black. Us girls went for classic strawberry. And here were the results:

I totally feel your pain about Toddler Tunes. Thanks Nancy. There are some songs on there that I seriously wonder who made them up and even more decided to put them on a CD.
That is so funny! That girl knows what she wants! Love Bumkins bibs, too.
