Happy Valentine's Day

I just love Valentine's Day! What a sweet holiday! I think it's one of my favorites because my parents always did something really special for me (only girl=spoiled). One year in college, I remember that my dad sent me flowers at work (doesn't that just melt your heart!). And even this year, my mom sent us cards and candy which is almost better than flowers. And my in-laws always treat us to dinner on them. They're the best. I told Brandon that I didn't want flowers this year, but some orange trees for our backyard instead. I'm so practical these days it's ridiculous ... but it's what I really, really want.

Happy Valentine's Day to you from us!

p.s. Hate to do this to you, but it's 75 degrees all weekend here :) - I feel bad for the rest of the freezing country!

happy v day to you too! my dad always sends me flowers. when i was in school he would find out what class i was in, and then bring it in himself. sometimes he would even sing! i was embarrassed until i hit my junior/senior year, then i thought it was so cool!

we're not quite at 75 yet, but we are going to feed the ducks. rachel looks darling!

Ugh, I am dripping with jealous. It's going to be in the 20s here all weekend. Blissful. I've always wanted orange, lemon and avocado trees. Yummy. You lucky girl.

whitney, you must learn! you must. how else are you going to communicate with the people of mesa?:) i've wanted to for a long time, but just now am getting around to it. rosetta stone actually is a fun way to learn. i think you'd like it. plus, you have brandon to help you and talk with you, so you'll be more immersed. think about it. if you want to go halfsies on it with us, you can. it can be loaded on to 2 different computers.
