Home Sweet Home

Day 1 - Not a happy camper, but was content as long as someone was holding her. She was actually trying her best to smile in the picture with daddy - she was so happy to see him after work and just wanted to cuddle and watch movies.

Day 2 - Sometimes sleep is the best medicine. After a long nap, we got her all disconnected from her cords so that we could go on a little walk. She had to wear a mask outside the room - at least it had Mickey mouse on it.

All of her cords, poor thing! But at least she could get out of the room for a minute and pull around the wagon.

Day 3 - Can I go home yet?

... Please, I'm feeling much better!

No more oxygen! She was mostly disconnected from cords this morning, so she could play around the room, then we just had to wait for the Dr. - you know how that goes. We got discharged finally around 2p.

I can't complain about the care we received - everyone was great and the facility was brand new. We were at Cardon's Children Medical Center at Banner Desert Hospital in Mesa.

My hat is off to mom's who have to spend more than their fair share of time in the hospital with their children. It's just no fun.

I'm sorry you had to go through that. I can't imagine how terrible it would be. I wish I was there to help. Let me know if I can do anything.

I'm so glad she's doing better. I hate when the kids are sick but it's scary when they're "hospital" sick. How are you doing? You've got to be exhausted! Take care, we're thinking of you guys.

Glad she is feeling better. Poor little thing, she looked so miserable. I am glad you made it through too. I think sick little kids are the worst. Hopefully you can have a nice calm weekend.

oh, that makes me so sad. i'm impressed that she kept the mickey mask on!

i see she still loves her binki. so does allie, and she won't give it up! i'm not even sure i want her to. it's such a life saver for me, and i'm sure it was for you to this past week. any ideas?

also, the spending fast. i've sort of done it and i'm happy to say that i have seen improvements. i'll wait for the official start date in may and do it with you. it's allie's b.day then, so we'll have to make a small exception.
