About a year ago, I saw on facebook a video of my friend Nicole's little girl in a dance & singing recital, and it was exactly the kind of thing I wanted to put Rachel in but I needed to wait until she turned 4 so that she could try it out. So we got her signed up for a summer camp (2 weeks - practice everyday with a recital on the last night) as soon as she turned 4 and she was the youngest in the class. She had a great time with it and loved to show me what she was learning. She also expressed that it was hard work to memorize all the words and to dance at the same time!!
At the recital, I had such good intentions to sit in the very front so that I could get some good video, but when I got half way there, I realized that I had left the tickets on the fridge and had to turn around and go get them, so we were in the back and the video is horrible, sorry!! And I will be the first to tell you that I know that she by far is not the best in the class, but she had fun and tried really hard - I was so proud of her!

Here's the recital video - it's so long (for gma/gpa/nana/papa). I'll give you the spots that may be actually worth your time: I mark where Rachel at a few spots. 5:40-6:30 & 11:25-14:30 are cute, then the little interview at the end 15:30 (her voice was nearly gone and she was so excited about a rainbow as we were leaving the recital). She's in the middle row on the right. Not that you can see her face very well since we were in the back, then I moved spots and the lights were so bright.
