Rachel's first soccer season

It was Rachel's idea to try soccer, so we were happy to make that happen for her.  She got on a good team with a great coach, and she loved playing a team sport.  Only downside was that she was terrible.    In her defense, she was the youngest on her team, and quite a few of the other girls had already played one year.  Of course we still thought that she was darling, and we appreciated the thumbs up and "I'm trying my best!" like only parents could.  However, Brandon did have a hard time with her not playing aggressively, and I'm not positive that she really understood all the rules and concepts.  She did score one goal this season, but it was because she was in the right place at the right time.  It basically bounced off her leg into the goal, and all the "Orange Crush" fans were cute to cheer for her extra loud.  Afterwards, she told us that she wasn't sure if she if that was the right goal for her team, but was happy to find out it was when everyone cheered.  Ha!  *just now realized that I already wrote this story down - please pardon my mom brain ... will I ever get it back?!

Rachel's biggest supporter, who usually got to watch a movie on my ipod touch to keep him on the sidelines
