Spring Break (mid-March)

Nana came to visit for Spring Break (Rachel gets one week off school)!!  We celebrated St. Patrick's Day (face painting and green food/treats), went to a "Frozen" party, went on walks, visited Mesa Riverview park, bought new summer outfits at Kohl's.  The kids really were so happy to have her here and so sad to see her go!  (The lack of detail is what I get for waiting so long to post and write it all down.)

Some neighbors had asked me to dog-sit for a few days over Spring Break, and I happily agreed in good neighborly fashion … that was until they told me what it entailed.  3 large, rambunctious dogs, and I had to go let them out at 8a, 5p, 10p, plus play with them and let them run.  Two of them had to stay in their kennel whenever I left, which made me feel so bad for them - so then I really felt like I had to let them out for a bit.  I was so glad to have Nana there to keep the kids, since I wasn't sure how good they would be with my kids.  Brandon knows how I am with big dogs, so he helped every time he could, and they loved him!  Sadly, I am just not a dog person, and this was a little too much to ask a non-dog-lover person, like myself.

Kendall, Nana did this to you - not mommy!

You are a better neighbor than me. I am not a dog person either. Sounds like a FUN spring break!!
