Maybe one day I will be finally caught up with life in general?! It is going by much too quickly!
Andrew & Brandon's soccer season finally ended and boy, are we glad!! I can't think of a more cruel way to torture Brandon then to have him coach a team of terrible players and get beat every game. By the end of the season, he was bribing the boys with money to score goals, but nothing worked! One time, Brandon came straight from work to coach and was still in a suit, and unfortunately, not even that helped although he looked very official! I think we scored less than 5 goals the whole season! But the players really did have fun and Brandon was a great coach and very sweet to them.
Andrew has been loving Miss Carole's preschool and has attended field trips at the grocery store & farm. I must say, he was a little star at his Thanksgiving preschool program and sung his little heart out, lead the pledge of allegiance by memory, and said the sweetest prayer on the refreshments (he was sure to bless Ellie in heaven, the Murray family, and Cade - just like he does at home). He is so social and constantly asks for play dates and wants to see his friends daily. Us moms are constantly swapping boys between houses, and I am grateful he has such a great group of boys in our neighborhood to play with (Emmett & Fisher, Ben, William, Maddox).
We had a super fun family day at Castles n' Coaster in Phoenix! Rachel loves loves loves roller coasters, so it was right up her alley. There was one ride that her and Brandon went on that slowly takes you straight up super high and then drops you quickly. I could tell that it made her scared and that she wouldn't want to do it again. At the end of the day, Brandon was making me go on this same ride because he wanted a good laugh - I was super scared and he knew I'd be brave and go on it for the kids. Rachel could tell I was scared and told me that she'd go on it with me. It was so sweet and motherly of her! She was so brave and I know that it was harder for her the second time because she knew what was coming, but she did it anyway. We both "peed our pants" - just a little bit - and called it a day!
