Christmastime

Christmas was MAGICAL!  On Christmas Eve around 11pm, it started snowing the most beautiful, fluffy snow and when we all woke up Christmas morning, there was SO MUCH SNOW!  It was probably 18 inches at least.  This year was the very first year having Christmas morning in our house.  We have always spent the morning in Utah, but we were always staying with family.  But this year, we were able to sleep in our own beds and open presents under our tree.  Grandma & Grandpa, Nana & Papa and Cade all trekked through the snow to join us at 7am.

Kyle read the kids, "The Night Before Christmas"
We set up a blockade so the kids couldn't peek!

CHRISTMAS DAY

Loved this one with Rachel's grouchy face!! Ha! Rachel asked for the rocking panda bear, and we knew she wouldn't allow the little kids to sit on it, so we had to get them one of their own.

Our Christmas Tree with some newly added decorations

Rachel asked Santa for the Lego Friends Grand Hotel lego set.  Andrew asked Santa for the Paw Patroller.  Kendall asked Santa for a pink mermaid tail.  They all got what they wished for, so I guess they were good this year (it was a close call for Rachel, but the Santa incentive shaped her right up)!!  Brandon surprised me and got me a mini iPad and a belated 10 year anniversary gift, which was the most beautiful ring to wear on my right hand!  Both of these gifts were surprises!  Brandon got himself a new TV, so everyone had new toys to play with!  It was such a fun and memorable Christmas.
