July Summer

- We went camping at Camp Haven the weekend after the 4th and took Brandon's parents, the Murrays, Jenkins and Glahns.  We were able to do a lot of fun things - zipline, ropes course, nine square, giant swing, bow and arrows, etc.  It was a really fun experience and is near Mount Pleasant/Spring City, so we'll have to do that again sometime.

- Rachel's softball team played into July since they had to reschedule a lot of June games due to weather.  I don't think she will play again, but I think she enjoyed it and made some improvements.

- The faceapp is trending and Brandon will apparently look just like Val when he is old.  :)

- Cub Scouts hiked to Battle Creek Falls!

- Kendall's dress from Aunt Janet came all the way from China and she was so excited to have it!  She loves anything to do with China and their culture.  She even says that when she grows up she wants to be a "China Lady" (I have no clue what that even means to her).

- Rachel went to Cleer Creek for a couple nights and had the best time.  She had a late start because she got sick and I had to take her down there early the second morning.  Brandon and I remember going as kids, so it was kind of fun to drive down there.  She only knew two people from school - Gracie Gunn and Gavin Robinson.

- We went and saw the real Lion King movie that came out in theaters.  We even took Carson since he is so familiar with the cartoon and he actually did a really great job paying attention.

- The kids have started their dates with Grandma and Kendall and Cole chose to go to Cowabunga Bay water park (they chose to go there last year too and Kendall even remembered how good the corndogs were from the year before).

- We're trying to do as much hiking as the kids can stand!  They don't love it, but I hope to train them to love it some day!

- Kelsey and I made 20 meals in one night with Citrus Pear - it is super nice to have a whole bunch of meals ready to go in the freezer!

- Andrew is doing PG swim team again and is so good about going to practice first thing in the morning.  My friend from Brick Oven, Jamee Gibert, has a son that is on Andrew's team, so it is fun to see them at all the meets.

- So glad that the Tolman's were able to stop by on their way from Bear Lake back to Arizona - I love me some Sarah (my college roommate)!
