- Lots of entertaining Carson and chasing him around
- Visiting Papa & Pookie's swings before the summer is over
- Cousin hangouts
- Andrew finished swim team and is a good little swimmer (so proud of him for not complaining about daily practice and trying his best)
- Carson wanting to wear any sports related items that the kids wear
- Phew! The candy store is over! Our neighborhood was not a very good location for something like that (not enough kids around).
- Lots of hanging out in the hammock out front
- Volleyball started for Rachel and she loves it
- Backyard sleepover at Nana & Papa's house - hopefully they are still willing to do it next summer
- Boating with the Hale family - finally - we've been waiting all summer
- Sundance with Morgan & Leslie for the Bluebird Cafe Concert Series
- Silver Lake up near Brighton resort - saw a real moose closer than I would have liked
- Kendall turned in her piano tickets for us to bring her lunch to school and she chose Dominos
- BYU football season started - go Cougs!
- Our beloved Pookie passed away (Brandon's grandma)
I have only known Pookie (Bonnie Lou Norman Allred) since we got married, but that didn't matter - she treated me like one of her own grandchildren. She was always warm and was so glad to hear from us. After listening to everything going on with us, she would go on to tell us all the family news. I have loved hearing all the stories about her - particularly about Brandon staying with them when he was younger and the stories include eating tomato soup, trail mix eggs, and expired soda. She was a strong woman, consistent, organized, motivated, family history guru, hard worker, caring wife, stalwart in the Gospel, smart with finances, and so loving. We will miss you, Pookie!
