- We found quail eggs in our front bush and were so excited to see them hatch. (Baby quails are one of my favorites!) The only problem that we realized is that quails hatch and are immediately mobile. So we went out to check one morning and they were cracked and gone. We searched the street and found them in the neighbor's yard! They were so cute and fast. We tried to keep track of them for a couple days - it felt like we were babysitting them. We realized that they feel in a neighbor's window well. Our neighbor, Marty, helped us get them all out but then later we checked the window well again and one had been left there. So Andrew got down in there and rescued it and then we searched the neighborhood again to find the quail family. We finally did and released the baby quail near its family.
- Brandon and I hiked to Silver Lake up AF Canyon on my birthday! He got a procedure later that day, and was back to work the next day and fixing the sod around our new in-ground trampoline.
- Look at all the Parker babies that we have to play with - so fun!
- Back to church with masks - the kids are less than thrilled.
- I bet the neighbor's are appreciating the port-a-potty that has been in our front yard for weeks, but we are making some serious progress on the attic/garage addition!!
- Summer = AF band practice
- I am making a better effort to hike with my friends and it has been so fun!
- I don't think we're going to be able to have girls camp this summer, so we got them all shirts and Rachel and I made a video on how to tie dye them with bleach. I realized why I am not an internet star - it was rough! ha ha
