We went to the zoo twice this month since it was free on Wednesdays. It's hard for Rachel to understand why she can't pet them and why the tiger has to be so far away! How lame! They have a fun splash pad, hence the swimsuit yet again (loving that lush background):
Brandon and I went on a date last weekend - that's right, we got a sitter and went to the Diamondbacks game (got the tix from one of Brandon's colleagues who wasn't going to use them). We had a blast, but it wasn't quite as fun as seeing the Cubs. 
Rachel was in good hands with Kasey & Danny and she loves her friends, Cole & Cooper (their two boys). When I texted her to see how things were going, here is the text I got from Kasey: "We are just getting home from the park - it was SO fun! Rach is so cute, a great dancer, and VERY fast!" I was so glad someone else could experience Rachel's sprinting - she just runs so fast anytime she gets to go outside! Here's a pic they sent me of Cole & Rachel: 
p.s. Thanks for the great discipline suggestions. I checked out a few books at the library and will do another post when I have figured out my game plan. Wish me luck!

question: has rachel started whining all the time? mine sure has. it's driving me nuts! i think she has pms already.
another question: i'm taking allie on her first plane ride on monday. since you're the expert, what advice do you have for me. so far i've got new toys that she's never seen before so that they'll be new, and play-dough. also we got a dvd player, but i'm worried that other passengers will get annoyed. your thoughts?

great advice. thanks. so, if the flight isn't full then will they move someone so that i have an extra seat next to me? that would be great because allie LOVES to climb. it's her favorite.
am i required to bring her car seat? will they let her walk up the isle at bit? how is it changing diapers? allie poops like 5 times a day, so i'm a little worried about that.... so many questions....
i can't believe rachel is in size 6 shoes! that's crazy. allie just moved up to size 3 and we're pretty excited cause she is now in 6 month onesies! yeah for us:)
A D-backs game is something we missed during our stay here! Oh well. They weren't any good this season anyway. ;)

Hey Whitney! It was so much fun to get your comment and get to come on over and see your darling little girl! It looks like you guys are totally enjoying Arizona! I am so glad you found us. Also, Cal and I just both watched that video of Rachel and Brandon of her jibber jab! Oh my goodness, that is so adorable! What a fun little girl! WE will be excited to keep checking in with you to see how you guys are doing!
