Saying goodbye to our house on Preston Street!

We really have loved this house!  If only we could pick it up and move it into a neighborhood with more kids and on a less busy street.  As I'm looking at these pictures (while my house is now covered in boxes and without things on the walls), the only thing missing in the pictures below are our kids who have really LIVED in this house - they run, jump and play in every single one of the rooms.  I guess there is one other thing that is missing in these pictures - MESSES (toys, snacks, sippy cups, laundry, etc.)!  If you stop by our house unannounced, you will likely find one area clean and the other area a complete and total disaster.  You know, cleaning with kids around, it's like shoveling during a snowstorm.  Really, I just have good feelings about this house and all the memories we've had here, and I have really enjoyed making this house our very own!  Now I can look forward to a new home where we can create even more memories together, and also a fresh new start.    

(Too bad we can't take the mantle that Brandon built, but we can take the cute table and chairs that he built for the kids.  And in the last month before we sold, Brandon redesigned and customized our closet - it used to be just one bar for clothes all the way across with only one shelf above.)
