Rachel's trip to Omaha!

Grandma & Grandpa treated Cannon, Kennedy, & Rachel on a weekend trip + plane ride to Omaha for Mason's baptism the first weekend in May.  Since she was there and I wasn't, I'm going to let her take over this post. (Please take notice to Rachel's awesome smiles in these pictures - it is totally cracking me up.)

In Rachel's words:

So we went on the airplane and we were coloring with the smelly pens that Grandma Nancy gave us.  Right when we got there, Auntie Rachel took us to these really fun slides that we loved going on.  And me, Kennedy and Brynn, we were riding on them together and sliding on them front ways and sideways, and we would end up sideways.  On the slides, we were riding on them with little bags and little pieces of cardboard.  We fell off and Grandpa had to catch us!  At the pond, we saw a squirrel running on the other side of the pond!

Mason's baptism was special.  There were three people getting baptized and Grandma Nancy gave a talk.  I got to see some friends who used to live in Arizona - Chrissy Olsen and her girls Sami, Janie & Lucy!

We went to the Omaha Zoo and we went in a butterfly cage and two butterflies landed on Auntie Rachel.  We saw this big blue one that was on the ground.  We went there and we saw little squares that had bugs in them.  And we went to a place in the zoo where you can see what it is like in the rainforest and what it feels like.  There was a branch that was like a swing and everyone got to swing on it.  At the zoo, what was so funny about it was one of the grown ups, when we were going to see the tigers and lions, they said, "Lions and Tigers and Bears, oh my!" like from "Wizard of Oz".

Us three girls got to sleep in Brynnie's room and her bed was like a three person bed, so we pulled up the other bed and me, Brynn, and Kennedy all slept on it.  When we got there at her house, we used a foam finger and we were playing tag with the end of it.  Grandma Nancy, when we were falling asleep, she turned on bubble music to help us fall asleep.  The bubbles looked like big eyes and Kennedy was watching them!

So at the airport, when we were waiting for our flight, Grandma Nancy gave us her computer to play the house game.  We were playing with the boy and girl that were kids, and we were pretending that they were naughty and they were stealing the phones and math books whenever they wanted and they stole stuff from the principal!

I was so happy that I got to go with my cousins!  Kennedy told me she wished she lived in Omaha since it was so fun.
