June Catchup

We took the kids to see Little Mermaid (in their pj's) at the Scera Shell.  They loved it!  And surprisingly, Kendall did not move and muscle and was completely mesmerized!

Andrew finished up tee ball with the Cubs team (he was SO excited when he found out he was on the Cubs team!).

Shoutout to Aunt Katherine who is the best auntie to the kids!!

Shalauna & Jason invited us to go boating with them at Jordanelle.  I had to be coaxed into jumping in (such a baby with my nose plugged), but then the girls followed suit and jumped in too.  And it was SO FREAKING COLD!  We got out just as fast as we could.  We caught some fish, played games, had a dance party, and just had a great day!  The kids kept calling Jason, "Captain Jason" and hilariously, the nickname has stuck and they refer to him as that all the time.

Rachel attended a culinary camp with cousins!

We got cement ripped up and poured in the backyard.  Not our most favorite thing to spend money on, but our backyard needs some serious help.

Activity Day Camp at Jeremiah Johnson!

We went to Newsies on Broadway with Chris & Kacie, Leslie & Morgan, Shawn & Katie and had the best time!  Getting tickets was disastrous, so Brandon and I both sat on the 3rd row at opposite ends of the theater - ha ha!  It was all I could get, and we desperately wanted to go.

Brandon and Val got all dressed up to go to a fight fundraiser - I clearly didn't listen very well at what it was.  I think that Mitt Romney was there and maybe Mario Lopez?

We spent an afternoon at Silver Lake near Brighton with the Dobson clan!

We are loving summer and enjoying the outdoors!

Sometimes they are sweet to each other!  Rachel is trying hard to be sweet to Andrew and Rachel.  They play really well, for the most part.  As long as the younger ones are able to put up with the bossiness.  She's been doing much better with a more relaxed schedule and no school.

Kendall is such a joy!  She had a long anticipated date to Cowabunga Bay with mom, and was so fun to be with for the day!

I love Andrew's quirky side - here he's pictured with his pet Lizard that he carried around on his shoulder and his sleeping mask - he doesn't always wear it, but when he does, he is serious about it.
