October Fun

FALL BREAK:
- Visited dad at work and drew on his windows
- Cornbelly's
- Boomshakalaka at BYU (basketball scrimage night)
- Lehi Fun Center

MILO/MOM:
- My mom has been busy training Milo.  I am so grateful that she is doing this for the grandkid's benefit.  I could not handle having a puppy in the house right now!  The kids love him so much!

KENDALL:
- Most mornings, I am greeted with her at the side of my bed saying, "Mom, can you play with me in the basement?"
- One day we were looking at her baby pictures and she said with a very concerned voice, "Mom why do I not have hair on the top?"  Ha ha!  So true!  She had such grandpa hair.
- Says, "surprise!" so excitedly, every time I go in to wipe her bum.
- I had to take a picture of her 80's outfit she picked out - pink socks, tucked in shirt - looking good, girl!

ANDREW:
- With half-day Kindergarten, we have lots of play dates to fill the afternoon.  He has lots of options for friends and gets invited to birthday parties almost every month!  The girls sometimes get a little jealous of all his play dates and parties.
- Andrew doesn't like to go upstairs or downstairs by himself, so he convinces Kendall to go up with him.
- Rachel wanted my old iPod touch, so we told her she'd need to pass down her leap pad onto Andrew.  It was a tough decision for her, but she did it, and Andrew is finally able to play on the leap pad without her telling him how/what to do with it.
- Andrew earned tickets by sleeping in his own bed, and when we discussed various prizes he could earn if he slept in his bed for approximately 7-10 nights.  He told me all he wanted was for me to get out of his baby clothes an old pair BYU pajamas (they kind of fit - more like capri pants).  It did the trick, he earned his tickets, got his prize, and he was a happy boy!

RACHEL:
- Wrapped up her soccer season, and we thought she did a pretty good job!  Not many girls wanted to be goalie, so occasionally, Rachel would volunteer.  I didn't like her as goalie - too stressful!
- Entered the Reflections Contest at school in the Dance Choreography Category.  She choreographed a dance to Justin Timberlake's, "Can't Stop the Feeling" and then taught it to her cousin, Brynn.  There were quite a few shimmy-shakes - can't be too sure where she got those moves from!  :)
- Rachel got mom's old iPod touch, which is basically a crappy camera with a couple games, and it does not hold a charge for very long at all, but she was thrilled with it.
