Kendall turns 4

Kendall is such a sweetheart and so easy to please.  She wanted a butterfly birthday and we found all the decorations and party favors at the Dollar Store (the kids all got wings and a glow in the dark butterfly wand).  For her cake, she asked for plain vanilla ice cream.  I had this great idea of doing flower molds of ice cream, but that flopped big time and didn't work at all.  Yikes!  Another pathetic cake hack - I opted for individual ice cream cups and stacked them into the shape of a cake.  I need my cake maker back out of retirement!  Wah!! I fancied it up with some chocolate strawberries, that Kendall usually likes and will usually eat (we never know when she stops liking something).

For her birthday, we went to Cornbelly's for the afternoon with friends and cousins.  Then we trick or treated at dad's work and the kids scored with an entire bucket full of candy in an hour.  Some of her gifts included her very own leap pad, new pink blanket, super girl barbies, stamps and pink ponies.  She was so happy and grateful and pleasant!
